Forklift and Building Materials Operator
As a Forklift and Building Materials Operator, you will be responsible for running a forklift daily, manually pulling orders, operating a chainsaw, and loading trucks. You will safely operate and maintain equipment to move products to designated areas and outbound trailers. Your role will involve accurately counting, measuring, and documenting inventory, requiring in-depth knowledge of building material products and warehouse operations.

- Run a forklift daily.
- Manually pull orders and operate a chainsaw.
- Load trucks on a daily basis.
- Safely operate and maintain equipment to move products to designated areas and outbound trailers.
- Accurately count, measure, and document daily inventory for shipping.
- Commit to quality, efficiency, and continuous process improvement.
- Experience with production, forklift operation, and general labor.
- Strong attention to detail, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work within a team to solve customer problems and complete general tasks.
- Willingness to work outside, regularly moving, in various weather conditions five days a week and occasionally on weekends.
- Ability to continuously work while standing, sitting, and driving equipment throughout the day.
- Capability to lift up to 50 lbs and move and slide up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to operate a chainsaw and basic computer skills.

Work shifts are Monday through Friday, with the possibility of overtime. Day shifts run from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, while night shifts are from 4:30 pm to 1:00 am. The role involves regular movement throughout the day, including standing, sitting, walking, and moving up to 100 pounds. You will be operating equipment outdoors in all types of weather conditions at the Concord Distribution Center in Concord, North Carolina.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Concord, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
