High Reach Forklift Operator

We are currently seeking High Reach Forklift Operators for a well established client company in Concord, NC. These opportunities are temp to hire for the successful candidate, with varied schedules available for 8 hour 1st shift, 8 hour mid shift, or 12 hour rotating schedules. The successful candidate must have experience with standard sit down forklifts as well as high reach trucks.

This role pays $17 per hour and is conveniently located off Highway 85.

Duties and responsibilities

• Receive trucks and unload merchandise.
• Fulfill customer orders.
• Move product throughout the warehouse and production as directed by the management team. Organize products on the warehouse floor.
• Put away all goods received; execute inventory transaction. Verify that the transaction happened in the database.
• Properly and promptly process all transactions/documents.
• Ensure stock rotation
• Maintain a clean warehouse and production environment.
• Identify damaged or compromised products stored in the warehouse.
• Work to Production Schedule priorities.
• Locate, verify count accuracy and condition of goods received, and pull raw materials for production requirements
• Maintain accurate identification of inventory.
• Cycle counts and inventories, as directed.
• Expected to leave the following production shift prepared for the first 2 hours.
• Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor/manager.
• Follow all safety codes.
• Other assignments as necessary.

Qualifications

• Required:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent
• Must be forklift certified
• At least one year of sit-down, stand-up reach, and clamp truck forklift experience
• Handheld scanner experience preferred
• Knowledge of overall warehouse operations, including following both written and verbal instructions, housekeeping standards, and warehouse policies.

Safety Requirements Ability to wear required PPE including steel toes, safety glasses, and possibly hair/beard nets.
