CFO, Financial Manager, Risk Manager/Analyst
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Chief Financial Officer, located in Conneaut, OH. The Chief Financial Officer will oversee the financial strategy, planning, and operations of Conneaut Savings Bank. Responsibilities include preparing, analyzing, and monitoring financial statements, managing budgets, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and developing strategies to enhance financial performance. The CFO will lead a team in implementing best practices for financial reporting and risk management, contributing to the bank’s overall success.
The CFO will directly report to the President/CEO.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage the bank's liquidity and interest rate risk.
- Supervise the account department in compliance with bank policy.
- Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis.
- Oversee HR and payroll functions.
- Work with external account firms and bank examiners for audits and examinations.
- Maintain strong internal controls and financial governance.
- Serve as a liaison for the institution's pension plan.
- Participate in determining deposit and loan rates.
- Ensure accurate and timely compliance with Federal, State and Local regulatory requirements.
- Minimum bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- 8 or more years of relevant experience preferred in the banking industry.
- Experience in Financial Planning and developing long-term financial strategies.
- Proficiency in preparing, analyzing, and managing Financial Statements and Reports.
- Strong Finance and Analytical Skills, with the ability to interpret data for informed decision-making.
- Experience with Financial Reporting practices and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership experience in financial management roles.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
- Strong knowledge of banking industry regulations and standards is highly desirable.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Competitive executive compensation: $70,000 - $85,000 (commensurate with experience)
