Speech Language Pathologist

Evaluate and treat patients for swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
Establish treatment goals and develop and implement appropriate Speech Pathology treatment programs based on full clinical evaluations.
Provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders as part of a coordinated team.
Participate in clinical conferences to share and coordinate patients' plans of care.
Treat residents one-on-one through private treatment sessions using a functional-based treatment approach.
Deliver personalized rehabilitative care to senior living community residents.
Collaborate with rehabilitation therapists and care teams.

• Master's Degree from an accredited graduate program in speech language pathology
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist / SLP, or ability to obtain prior to beginning employment
• Excellent interpersonal, fiscal, and clinical skills
• Ability to evaluate and treat swallowing disorders
• Ability to treat communication and cognitive impairments
• Ability to use evidence-based therapeutic techniques
• Ability to establish treatment goals and develop and implement Speech Pathology treatment programs
• Ability to provide rehabilitative services under specific medical orders
• Ability to participate in clinical conferences and coordinate patient care

Demonstrates expertise in evaluating and treating swallowing disorders and communication/cognitive impairments using evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Capable of developing and implementing personalized Speech Pathology treatment programs while collaborating effectively with interdisciplinary care teams.
