Our skilled nursing facility in Conneaut, OH is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (DON) to lead our nursing department. This is a full-time, salaried leadership role offering a comprehensive benefits package

We are looking to fill this position immediately with a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) licensed in the state of Ohio who is ready to make an impact on resident care, staff development, and clinical operations.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all clinical and nursing operations within the facility
- Ensure high-quality resident care and regulatory compliance
- Lead, train, and support nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, STNAs)
- Develop and implement policies, procedures, and care plans
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team and facility leadership
- Monitor staffing levels, scheduling, and performance evaluations
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and records
- Promote a positive, team-focused culture within the nursing department
- Active Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
- Previous leadership experience in long-term care or skilled nursing (strongly preferred)
- Strong knowledge of state and federal regulations, and experience in managing positive survey outcomes
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to work full-time hours and manage a nursing team effectively
