Senior Accountant

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and summaries for management use
• Assist with consolidation of accounting data to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Support the development and improvement of accounting systems and procedures, including participation in process enhancements and internal controls
• Assist with the preparation and coordination of documentation for regular and special audits
• Provide financial data and analysis to support management discussions and budgeting activities
• Review daily reports and summaries, perform reconciliations, and investigate and resolve discrepancies
• Maintain organized filing and documentation systems in accordance with department procedures
• Perform analysis of financial data and identify unusual trends or variances, escalating issues as appropriate
• Assist in implementing procedural or system changes and help communicate updates to relevant personnel
• Process and maintain petty cash transactions, ensuring proper documentation and reconciliation

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting (GAAP preferred)
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3–6+ years of relevant accounting experience; CPA or progress toward certification is a plus
• Experience with financial systems and reporting tools
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in data review and analysis
