Accounts Receivable Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's finance team. This role is responsible for managing incoming payments, maintaining accurate financial records, monitoring customer accounts, and supporting the overall collections process. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and prior experience in accounts receivable or general accounting.

Key Responsibilities

• Process customer invoices accurately and in a timely manner
• Post payments and reconcile customer accounts
• Monitor aging reports and follow up on outstanding balances
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, short payments, and unapplied cash
• Communicate with customers regarding payment status and account inquiries
• Prepare account statements and collection reports
• Maintain accurate records of transactions and customer communications
• Support month-end close activities related to accounts receivable
• Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, customer service, and accounting, to resolve issues
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures
