The Accounts Payable Clerk will play a vital role in ensuring timely and accurate payment processing while supporting the financial functions of a busy manufacturing operation.

Responsibilities

• Process and enter vendor invoices accurately and efficiently
• Match invoices to purchase orders and receiving documentation
• Verify invoice coding and obtain appropriate approvals
• Prepare and process check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoice status and payment inquiries
• Assist with month-end closing activities and account reconciliations
• Monitor outstanding invoices and ensure timely payments
• Support the accounting department with administrative and accounting projects as needed
• Maintain compliance with company policies and internal controls
