Position Summary

The scheduling coordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating employee schedules within the department to ensure adequate staffing coverage and efficient daily operations. This role supports supervisors and staff by maintaining accurate schedules, responding to changes in real time, and assisting with administrative tasks related to workforce coordination.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create, maintain, and update employee work schedules based on operational needs
  • Coordinate shift coverage, including managing call-outs, time‑off requests, and last‑minute changes
  • Communicate scheduling updates clearly and promptly to employees and supervisors
  • Ensure staffing levels align with departmental requirements and organizational policies
  • Track and maintain accurate scheduling records and documentation
  • Assist with timekeeping processes, including identifying missed punches and communicating next steps to employees for accurate timekeeping
  • Collaborate with management to anticipate staffing needs
  • Support onboarding new employees by incorporating them into schedules and helping them understand how to use our scheduling system
  • Provide general administrative support to the department as needed
  • Complete all required training as determined by mountain leadership
  • Accurately record all hours worked, ensure time entries are complete, and promptly resolve any discrepancies prior to the end of each pay period
  • Other duties as assigned by mountain leadership
Qualifications
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), and ability to learn new applications
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing needs
  • Flexible work hours including peak business hours, evenings, and weekends
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
  • Successful completion of background check

  • Office setting with occasional exposure to cold winter elements
  • Able to occasionally lift up to 20 lbs
