Vista is seeking a Café Instructor to prepare and serve meals while facilitating activities and socialization for large groups of Vista members. This role focuses on creating a welcoming, structured environment that promotes culinary skill development, social engagement, and individualized support. This position requires flexibility, strong communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to work independently while maintaining a clean, organized, and supportive café environment.

• Plan, shop for, and prepare meals and activities for members in the café program.
• Work within a budget to plan and prepare nutritious meals for members.
• Lead activities that encourage socialization and camaraderie among members.
• Prepare menus and complete grocery shopping on a weekly basis.
• Develop and facilitate creative group, social, and recreational activities for café participants.

• High School diploma plus 1 year of related experience.
• Valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record as defined by Vista.
• CPR, First Aid, and PMT certification or the ability to obtain certifications within 90 days of hire.
• Utilize technology, including computers for instruction, communication, and administrative purposes.

Hourly Rate: $22.40, plus eligible mileage reimbursement

Part‑time, Non‑Exempt, Monday‑Friday 4pm‑7pm, with additional hours for shopping.
