Do you enjoy working with children? Are you interested in supporting our AHA program?

North Canaan Elementary School seeks a motivated and energetic person to support our fall AHA and school-year program.

• After school hours, 3:15 PM - 5:30 PM.
• Six early dismissal days, 12:10 PM - 5:30 PM.

Based on experience

• Support the director in providing care to students who attend the AHA program.
• Supervise students in community-centered or optimal learning environments.
• Maintain confidentiality of all records, documents, and conversations.
• Maintain a safe and caring environment.

• Sensitive to and aware of student needs.
• Courteous verbal communication.
• Team approach.
• Positive human relations and the ability to build rapport with children are essential.
• Knowledgeable and understanding of child development.
