The Graphic Designer is responsible for producing visually consistent, brand-aligned creative assets across multiple mediums — including print, digital, motion, and photography. This role requires a balance of technical design execution and creative problem-solving, with proficiency in layout design, animation, photo editing, and emerging digital tools such as Figma for interface design and design system management.
Key Responsibilities- Design and produce marketing and product materials, including catalogs, brochures, spec sheets, and technical documents.
- Develop and maintain Figma-based design systems and digital templates to ensure consistency across web, interface, and marketing platforms.
- Create motion graphics and short animations for product explainers, digital ads, and training content.
- Edit and assemble video content for marketing campaigns, web features, and trade show presentations.
- Capture and edit product photography for use in print, web, and promotional materials; manage lighting, composition, and post-production retouching.
- Perform advanced photo manipulation in Photoshop, including compositing, color correction, and masking.
- Create custom illustrations and icons to support product and marketing communications.
- Collaborate with marketing and engineering teams to translate complex technical concepts into clear, compelling visuals.
- Maintain brand consistency through use of established design systems, color palettes, and typography standards.
- Organize and manage creative assets, ensuring efficient file structure, version control, and proper documentation.
- Ensure all final deliverables meet technical specifications for both print and digital output.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or related field; or equivalent professional experience.
- 3+ years of professional design experience in an in-house or agency setting.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including:
- Illustrator — vector design, iconography, and branding assets.
- InDesign — layout design, catalog production, and prepress setup.
- Photoshop — expert-level retouching, compositing, and photo editing.
- After Effects — motion graphics, animation, and visual effects.
- Premiere Pro — video editing and multi-track sequencing.
- Strong understanding of Figma — building design systems, digital components, and maintaining shared libraries for brand and product teams.
- Skilled in photography, including camera operation, studio lighting setup, and photo editing workflow.
- Solid grasp of typography, color theory, and layout design across print and digital applications.
- Experience preparing press-ready files and optimized web/digital assets.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles and responsive layout best practices (a plus).
- Strong organizational and file management skills, including asset tagging and version control.
- Understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression standards for multi-platform delivery.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Highly organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Passion for technology, precision, and modern design aesthetics.
- Adaptable and curious — eager to learn new tools and creative technologies.
Physical Requirements

Systems headquarters in Bantam, CT. - Work primarily performed at a computer workstation with occasional studio photography setup.
