Job Title
As a Designer on this engagement, you'll help bring a pro beauty brand to life through polished, modern design across social, digital, retail, and e-commerce.
Reporting to the Creative Director, you'll collaborate with copy, production, and marketing partners to turn briefs into clean, on-brand assets-balancing speed, consistency, and high craft. This is a hands-on role for someone who loves design systems and details, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants their work to show up every day across major platforms and retailers.
Design Execution & Brand Consistency- Design and produce high-quality creative for the client across campaigns, launches, and always-on needs-working from established direction and brand guidelines
- Translate briefs into clear, compelling layouts and compositions with strong attention to typography, hierarchy, and brand consistency
- Build and maintain reusable templates and modular systems that help the team scale output efficiently (toolkits, social templates, retail/e-comm modules)
- Support brand consistency by organizing and updating design files, libraries, and guidelines as needed
- Design social-first creative (organic and paid), including templates, asset variations, story formats, and short-form video design needs (titles, supers, end cards, thumbnails)
- Create e-commerce and retailer-ready assets (PDP modules, banners, comparison visuals, feature callouts, and education) that meet specifications and support conversion
- Handle versioning and adaptations across formats, aspect ratios, and retailer requirements while maintaining consistency and quality
- Incorporate feedback quickly and accurately, with strong file hygiene and attention to detail across rounds
- Partner with production and creative teammates to support shoots and content creation by preparing design comps, reference layouts, and asset needs (as applicable)
- Ensure files are production-ready and delivered correctly across channels (export specs, naming conventions, packaging files, version control)
- Support post-production needs by designing graphics for video/motion deliverables (titles, supers, end cards) and preparing handoff files for editors/motion designers as needed
- Maintain high design standards across deliverables: typography, layout, composition, color, and brand consistency, with strong attention to detail
- Work efficiently within review/approval workflows-incorporating feedback while protecting core creative intent and meeting deadlines
- Prepare production-ready files and collaborate with production/ops partners to ensure specs are met across social, e-commerce, retail, and print as needed
- Contribute to continuous improvement by building reusable templates, systems, and best practices that help the team deliver faster without sacrificing quality
- Partner day-to-day with the Creative Director to deliver on-brand, high-performing creative across brand priorities
- Collaborate with marketing, social, e-commerce, product, and sales partners to understand objectives and translate them into creative that meets channel requirements
- Ensure visual consistency across touchpoints by aligning design, imagery, and messaging systems across campaigns, social, retail, and e-commerce
- 3+ years of professional design experience in-house or at an agency, ideally supporting consumer brands (beauty, grooming, or pro salon a plus)
- A portfolio that demonstrates strong design craft across social-first content, paid social assets, e-commerce/retail creative, and campaign toolkits
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and working knowledge of Figma; comfort designing for multiple formats and specs
- Strong typography, layout, and composition skills with excellent attention to detail and file hygiene
- Understanding of digital and social best practices (platform-native creative, iterative production, versioning, and testing/learning)
- Experience designing for e-commerce and retail environments (PDP modules, retailer specs, feature/benefit callouts), with a conversion-minded sensibility
- Ability to manage multiple projects, incorporate feedback efficiently, and deliver polished work on deadline
- Strong collaboration skills-able to work closely with creative, production, and marketing partners in a fast-paced environment
Starting hourly between $65-$75
