Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist

We are seeking a Board-Certified Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join an established behavioral health program in Mansfield Center, Connecticut. This position focuses on outpatient psychiatric care for children and adolescents with a broad range of mental health conditions.

Position Details

• Setting:
  Outpatient
• Patient Volume:
  Approximately 10–12 patients per day
• Discharges:
  At least 2 discharges per day
• Program Size: 28 total beds
• Patient Population:
  Children and adolescents with all mental health diagnoses
• Care Model:
  Multidisciplinary team environment

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management
• Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
• Coordinate care with therapists, nursing staff, and other providers
• Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry
• Willingness to practice in an outpatient setting
• Eligible for Connecticut medical licensure
