Overview:

Region One School District is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Middle School Track and Field Coach to lead our middle school team for the Spring 2026 season. The ideal candidate will inspire, motivate, and guide student-athletes, fostering skill development, sportsmanship, and a positive team culture.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan, organize, and conduct practices, meets, and team activities

* Develop and implement training strategies to enhance individual performance and overall team success

* Teach proper techniques and event-specific skills while emphasizing safety

* Promote teamwork, discipline, and good sportsmanship on and off the track

* Ensure the safety and well-being of all student-athletes

Qualifications:

* CPR and First Aid Certification

* Completed Concussion Training

* Sudden Cardiac Arrest Awareness Program Completion

* 5-Year Coaching Permit or Emergency Coaching Permit

* Fingerprinting and DCF Background Check

* High School Diploma

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to actively move around the track and field areas, demonstrating drills and coaching from various locations

* Endurance to remain on your feet for extended periods during practices and meets

* Occasional lifting of equipment up to 30 pounds

* Clear communication skills and ability to project voice across outdoor venues
