Position Description

During the school day, the coordinator will have time available to meet with students one‑on‑one, in small groups and as a cohort. Three one‑on‑one interviews are required by IB, and the coordinator must have time available to complete this requirement. Connections with outside organizations are an important part of this role; the coordinator needs time to make phone calls, perform visits and set up meetings to build relationships to facilitate opportunities for the students.

The Diploma Programme Coordinator and CAS Coordinator also need time to meet. Any work that cannot be completed during the assigned duty period due to meetings will be covered by the stipend.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and conduct the three required one‑on‑one student interviews.
  • Schedule and participate in meetings with students, faculty and external partners.
  • Build and maintain relationships with outside organizations to create CAS opportunities.
  • Coordinate with the Diploma Programme Coordinator and CAS Coordinator as needed.
  • Manage time and responsibilities covered by the stipend when meeting obligations exceed the assigned duty period.
