West Hartford Public Schools seeks to fill the position of a School Counselor (0.5 FTE) at Sedgwick Middle School.
Responsibilities- Provide academic, career, and social‑emotional counseling services to students.
- Deliver classroom guidance lessons and facilitate small‑group interventions.
- Collaborate with families, staff, and community partners to support student success.
- Respond to student crises and coordinate appropriate interventions and referrals.
- Use data to identify student needs and evaluate counseling program effectiveness.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive school environment.
