Hours: Monday-Friday, 6.25 hours per day when school is in session and one day prior to students returning to school after the summer break (181 days per school year)
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or its equivalent. Minimum of two years of college credit preferred.
- Previous experience working with young children in a school setting a plus
- Must be flexible, creative, have a good sense of humor, and demonstrate strong organizational skills
- Must be highly motivated and self-directed
Responsibilities:
- Assist students in one-to-one instruction and/or provide support for special education students in the general education classroom
- Implement IEP goals as directed by the Special Education teacher
- Collect data regarding student performance in the resource room and/or general education classroom
