Location: Burnside
Special Education Assistant – Social Support Program (Available 2026–2027) –
This is a 185‑day position. Pay
Schedule:
Grade 105. The position is for the 2026–2027 school year.
Position Type: Classified/ Special Education
This position requires one of the following:
- 60 semester hours at an accredited institution of higher education
- an Associate's degree or higher from an accredited institution of higher education
- a qualifying score on one of the state‑approved assessment exams (Para Pro or Para Pathways)
Please contact W.R. Rogers Adult Education Center at 803‑736‑8787 to schedule a date to complete an assessment.
- Para Pro exam scores will be accepted through August 31, 2026.
- Para Pathways exam scores will be accepted effective September 1, 2026.
