Location: Pequabuck
Special Education Teacher Contract for up to $55 per hour. Provide instruction and support for approximately 23 students in a resource room setting, delivering services to middle school students during the fall term. Impact student learning by implementing individualized strategies and collaborating with school staff.
Key Responsibilities:Provide instruction and support for students in a Special Education resource room setting (approx. 23 students).
Deliver Special Education services for middle school students during the long‑term sub timeframe (September through end of November).
Develop and implement individualized support strategies aligned to students’ needs and learning goals.
Collaborate with school staff to support student progress within the classroom and resource room environment.
Maintain required documentation and follow school/district procedures for Special Education programming.
Special Education Teacher License or equivalent certification.
Degree in Special Education or related field required, or equivalent credentials accepted by the state.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Special Education Teacher.
Experience working with middle school students during the fall term.
Strong classroom management, patience, and collaboration skills.
Ability to support students in a resource room setting (approx. 23 students).
Reliable attendance for a 37.5‑hour/week day schedule.
Ability to follow school and district policies, including documentation requirements.
