We’re currently recruiting for a Teaching Support Assistant to join a Primary School in Killingworth on a long- or short-term basis starting in September.

This is a great opportunity for a new or experienced educator to become a familiar face in a school where staffing, culture and community go hand in hand.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Assist with classroom administration, displays, and record-keeping
• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students
• Assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and classroom activities
• Prepare and organise learning resources and classroom materials.

Requirements or

Skills:

• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and parents.
• Good organisation, time management, and reliability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to support diverse learning needs.

This role is paid within the advertised pay scale. Your starting rate will be determined by your qualifications, relevant experience, and the requirements of the assignment.
