Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Engineering Supervisor/Team Lead to sit onsite 5 days a week in Chester, CT. This person will join an American corporation that designs and manufactures audio and visual warning equipment for automotive, aviation, and mass notification industries worldwide. The Electronic Engineering Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of 4-5 electronic engineers engaged in the design, development, testing, and maintenance of electronic systems and components for the Aviation Division.

This role combines technical expertise with managerial skills to ensure projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget while maintaining high-quality standards. On a day-to-day basis, this person will spend 50% of their time hands-on in design & development for hardware and embedded firmware on an agile team. The other 50% will involve coaching, mentoring, and setting team goals for a team of 4-5 people.

The company seeks someone who can multitask, prioritize, and delegate effectively.

• 7+ years of experience in electronic design, development, and testing
• 3+ years of experience in a supervisory or leadership role
• CAD experience designing electrical circuits using software like Altium
• C or C++ embedded programming experience
• Bare metal firmware development experience (building firmware applications that can run without an OS)
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electronic Engineering or a related field
