Principal Engineer, Systems Engineering; Onsite

• Lead the development of Systems Engineering Models (MBSE) for military engine programs.
• Perform systems engineering tasks: requirements analysis, defining logical and physical architectures, defining interfaces, verification planning, trade studies, and system integration.
• Coordinate with leadership, team members, and cross‑functional teams in a matrixed organization.
• Participate in customer and internal gate reviews throughout the product lifecycle.
• Coordinate model inputs, enforce engineering best practices and compliance with EDSI standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• Experience in systems engineering roles and familiarity with systems engineering methods.
• Proficiency in a SysML tool (IBM Rhapsody®, Cameo/Magic Draw®, or equivalent).
• U.S. citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

• Proficiency with Cameo Systems Modeler or Cameo Enterprise Architect.
• Knowledge of MBSE best practices.
• Systems engineering certifications (INCOSE CSEP, OMG SysML).
• Experience leading small engineering teams.
• Agile experience (Jira, Confluence).
• Proposal writing or basis of estimate experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500.
