Position TypeOnsite. U.S. citizen required. No security clearance needed.
Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy complex Ignition SCADA systems for hardware manufacturing.
- Integrate Ignition systems with PLCs, HMIs, databases, and other control systems.
- Configure Ignition software to meet project requirements through custom scripts and templates.
- Design and implement control systems, including PLC programming, hardware selection, and network configuration.
- Develop and test software solutions for manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless communication and control.
- Design, develop, and optimize machine automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
- Diagnose and resolve complex automation and controls hardware issues.
- Analyze processes and identify automation and efficiency opportunities in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
- Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards and best practices.
- Manage project timelines and budgets, delivering on time and within budget.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Advanced degree or minimum 3 years relevant experience, or minimum 5 years prior relevant experience.
- Extensive experience in developing and integrating Ignition SCADA systems.
- Strong expertise in controls hardware engineering: PLCs, HMIs, sensors, industrial networking.
- Proven experience in machine automation within a manufacturing environment.
- Understanding of manufacturing processes and process optimization.
- Proficiency in programming languages used in automation and control systems (Python, Java, Ladder Logic).
- Strong project management skills with a track record of leading successful automation projects.
