Automation Controls Engineer; Onsite

• Design, develop, and deploy complex Ignition SCADA systems for hardware manufacturing.
• Integrate Ignition systems with PLCs, HMIs, databases, and other control systems.
• Configure Ignition software to meet project requirements through custom scripts and templates.
• Design and implement control systems, including PLC programming, hardware selection, and network configuration.
• Develop and test software solutions for manufacturing processes, ensuring seamless communication and control.
• Design, develop, and optimize machine automation solutions for manufacturing processes.
• Diagnose and resolve complex automation and controls hardware issues.
• Analyze processes and identify automation and efficiency opportunities in collaboration with cross‑functional teams.
• Ensure all automation solutions comply with safety standards and best practices.
• Manage project timelines and budgets, delivering on time and within budget.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Advanced degree or minimum 3 years relevant experience, or minimum 5 years prior relevant experience.
• Extensive experience in developing and integrating Ignition SCADA systems.
• Strong expertise in controls hardware engineering: PLCs, HMIs, sensors, industrial networking.
• Proven experience in machine automation within a manufacturing environment.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes and process optimization.
• Proficiency in programming languages used in automation and control systems (Python, Java, Ladder Logic).
• Strong project management skills with a track record of leading successful automation projects.
