About this roleThis role involves delivering exceptional member experiences and implementing USALLIANCE’s sales and service standards by offering products and services to improve members’ financial positions. The representative will perform teller and personal banker responsibilities, acting as a universal banker.
ScheduleThis is a part‑time position working up to 20 hours per week. The schedule is:
- Monday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM
- Thursday 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM
- Saturday 8:45 AM – 12:30 PM
- Promptly and accurately perform member transactions and requests, via in person and on the phone, including balance inquiries, deposits, withdrawals, funds transfers, loan payments, and setting up online and mobile banking, as well as submitting new membership and loan applications.
- Demonstrate knowledge of credit union products, services, policies, and procedures, including promotions and special offers, during member and employee interactions.
- Offer additional support to the Call Center when needed.
- Demonstrate working knowledge and understanding of the credit union’s sales and service standards, and cross‑sell credit union products and services during every eligible member interaction.
- Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of credit union members and employee account and business information. Identify and communicate areas for continual improvement of business processes to support efficiency.
- Participate in branch outreach events and be an ambassador of USALLIANCE by participating in local community and SEG events.
- Travel to other branch locations as needed.
- Assist with vault and ATM custodian role.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of 1 year cash handling experience.
- Great people skills with a "can do" attitude and high energy level.
- Ability to multitask – manage multiple priorities and systems.
- Work independently and cooperatively with other credit union team members and departments.
- Strong communication, attention to detail, and active listening skills.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
- Previous banking and/or contact center experience is a plus.
