Overview
The Budget & Accounting Analyst is responsible for supporting the Chief Financial Officer in planning, development, analysis, and monitoring of agency budgets across all funding sources. This role performs professional-level accounting functions including the preparation of journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and monthly and quarterly financial reports. The Analyst conducts budget-to-actual variance analysis throughout the fiscal year, assists in developing new program budgets, and ensures fiscal compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Additional responsibilities include accounts receivable management, property exemption filings, general ledger maintenance, and providing financial guidance to program directors and staff.
- Support the CFO in planning, development, analysis, and monitoring of agency budgets across all funding sources.
