This is a part-time,
center-based position. Behavior Technicians work directly with children to build communication, social, and daily living skills while following behavior-support plans developed by our clinical team.
Starting Pay:
- Behavior Technicians (no RBT): $19.00/hour
- Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT): $20.50/hour starting, up to $24.50/hour for 4+ years experience
- Part-time
, up to
29 hours/week with flexible scheduling based on candidate availability
- Monday–Friday:7:45 AM – 6:15 PM
- Saturday:8:00 AM – 2:30 PM
More availability increases the likelihood we can accommodate preferred shift requests.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct support to children receiving ABA services in a center-based setting
- Implement individualized treatment goals under supervision of a BCBA or Lead Clinician
- Collaborate with clinical team members and caregivers to support progress
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a safe environment for all clients
Required:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Experience working with children (e.g., previous ABA experience, childcare, coaching, babysitting, education)
- Reliable, punctual, and comfortable engaging with children with unique learning needs
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
-Paid Training for candidates seeking RBT certification - Experience in ABA or special education settings
- Physical demands associated with this position include walking / standing for approximately 80% of the day.
- Active with patients, including sitting, and getting up from the floor, sit/play on the floor for extended periods of time.
- Ability to complete skills required for Physical Management Techniques (PMT) to safely support patients.
- Be able to lift 40 pounds without assistance.
- Operating and working on a laptop, keyboard and/or iPad.
- Be physically present at the assigned job location.
