Seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist to join a dynamic surgical team in Sharon, CT, with a $20,000 sign‑on bonus! This role involves functioning as a scrub nurse, assisting with surgical care for diverse patient populations, and ensuring a safe, sterile environment.
Responsibilities- Prepare the surgical suite and materials, including sponge, sharp, and instrument counts.
- Maintain cleanliness, proper supply placement, and verify sterile packaging integrity.
- Ensure patient confidentiality, effective communication, and adherence to current healthcare practices.
- Utilize equipment safely, participate in quality audits, and demonstrate professional knowledge.
- Maintain reliable attendance and uphold core values of respect, excellence, accountability, compassion, and honor.
- High school diploma or equivalent, surgical technician certification, BLS certification.
- Preferably one year of OR experience.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology, along with computer skills.
