CNA Private Duty Caregiver

Overview

Masonicare at Home is a non‑medical homecare agency offering personal and companion care. We are hiring private caregivers and homemakers for live‑in or hourly live‑out services throughout Connecticut.

Service locations include Wallingford, Mystic, Chester, and soon Shelton, Farmington, and Newington.

Positions are available throughout the state in Connecticut. We offer day shift (3 hrs to 12 hrs) and night shift services. Per‑diem hourly service requires a minimum 3‑hour shift. Current openings include 12‑hour or 3‑hour shifts from 9:00 am–12:00 pm, at least two shifts per week. Availability for day shift, night shift, and weekend day shift is preferred.

We will pay for your CNA certification and provide training for reliable transportation users. The role is meaningful and rewarding in helping individuals unable to help themselves.

• Conversation and general companionship
• Light housekeeping
• Changing bed and bath linens
• Laundry
• Meal preparation
• Running errands
• Medication reminders
• Assist with phone calls, appointment scheduling, mail
• Recreation: reading, games, crafts, outdoor/indoor walks, etc.
• Drive or accompany client to appointments (doctor, hair salon, nail salon, etc.)
• Bathing, dressing, oral hygiene, hair/skin care, and feeding
• Toileting and incontinence care
• Assist with exercises, ambulation, and transfer activities

Availability to work 12‑hour or 3‑hour shifts; reliable transportation; willingness to learn; prior caregiving experience is beneficial but not required.
