Evening Caregiver

Summary:

Always Best Care of Greater Bristol is hiring for Evening Caregivers in Litchfield. We are looking for Caregivers who can work 4pm-9pm 7 days a week. The main function of the caregivers is to provide care for clients in a safe, secure, professional environment which meets their needs. This client is open to having one or two Caregivers provide services. This role will report directly to the Director of Operations.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Provides daily routine care such as bathing, dressing, and feeding

• Responsible for house maintenance when applicable

• Answer phone calls for clients when necessary

• Converses with patients to provide assurance

• Observes Universal Precautions

• Provides patient transportation to doctor appointments, outside activities and shopping

• Provides patient laundry and linen changes

• Light housekeeping

• Provides medication reminders

• Meal preparation and clean up

Knowledge and Skill Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Non-Medical Caregiver required

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

• High school diploma or GED

• Valid driver's license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation

• Exceptional interpersonal skills

• Must have Cell Phone / Tablet
