Step into a meaningful role supporting students' educational journeys as a School Psychologist for the upcoming academic year. This contract opportunity runs from August 2026 through June 2027 and is perfect for professionals committed to making a real difference in students' lives. Working full-time (Monday through Friday, 3237.5 hours per week), youll serve a diverse K-12 caseload across multiple schools, ensuring broad impact and varied experiences.
The position focuses on providing essential psychological services and counseling support tailored to students' unique needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Masters or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working with K-12 students in educational settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, interventions, and IEP processes
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills
- Ability to travel between multiple school sites as needed
- Dedicated to in-person work throughout the contract duration
- Conduct comprehensive psycho educational assessments to identify student strengths and areas of need
- Provide direct counseling and intervention services to students across grade levels
- Participate in the development, implementation, and review of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Section 504 Plans
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to develop strategies supporting academic and emotional growth
- Consult with school staff on student and classroom management, mental health, and crisis intervention
- Maintain accurate records and adhere to ethical and legal standards within the school psychology field
