The Respiratory Therapist provides specialized respiratory care to patients with breathing disorders. They collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans, ensuring optimal respiratory health and patient safety.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients’ respiratory conditions through diagnostic testing and clinical evaluation.
• Administer respiratory treatments, medications, and therapies as prescribed by physicians.
• Operate and maintain respiratory equipment, ensuring proper function and safety.
• Educate patients and their families on respiratory management and therapeutic techniques.
• Document patient assessments, treatments, and progress accurately within medical records.

Qualifications:

• Require valid licensure as a Respiratory Therapist per state or regional regulations.
• Hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or a related field.
• Demonstrate experience in various respiratory procedures and therapies.
• Possess strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Exhibit excellent communication and patient-care skills.
