Provides clinical support to licensed physical therapists in delivering patient care, assisting with therapy procedures and ensuring optimal recovery outcomes. Collaborates with healthcare teams to implement treatment plans and monitor patient progress.

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed physical therapists in administering therapy sessions and therapeutic exercises.
• Prepare treatment areas and ensure all necessary equipment is available and sanitized.
• Document patient progress and report any changes or concerns to supervising therapists.
• Educate patients and their families on therapy exercises and home programs.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Support the overall coordination of patient care activities and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license or credential.
• Proven experience assisting in outpatient or inpatient physical therapy settings.
• Strong understanding of therapy techniques, modalities, and patient safety procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Demonstrated professionalism and compliance with healthcare standards.
