The outpatient office setting in which you will be working is designed to create a welcoming atmosphere that promotes healing and recovery. The facility is equipped with the latest technologies and rehabilitation equipment, allowing you to deliver effective treatments tailored to each patient's unique needs. Our office operates Monday through Friday, and we maintain a structured schedule to ensure that our team can provide optimal care while also allowing for work-life balance.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients, including reviewing medical histories, performing assessments, and documenting findings to establish individualized treatment plans.
- Clearly communicate evaluation results and treatment recommendations to patients and their families, involving them in goal-setting for improved engagement in the rehabilitation process.
- Implement treatment protocols that are informed by the evaluation findings, adapting them to address patients' evolving needs within the healthcare landscape.
- Collaborate with fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care, recognizing when referrals may be necessary to optimize the treatment process.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all patient interactions, treatment plans, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries to ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
- Manage time effectively to meet productivity goals while maintaining a flexible schedule that accommodates patient needs.
- Engage in community marketing initiatives and assist in overcoming barriers to access care, enhancing the patient experience and accessibility to our services.
- Participate in ongoing professional development activities and serve as a mentor for students or new staff within the organization.
Your role will primarily involve working with a diverse range of clients, including individuals recovering from surgery, those managing chronic pain, athletes seeking rehabilitation and conditioning, and elderly patients aiming to maintain mobility. We take pride in tailoring our approach to meet the unique needs of each individual, ensuring a supportive and effective recovery journey.
Qualifications- A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
- A valid DPT license in the state of Connecticut is mandatory.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association.
- A strong commitment to quality patient care and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- A minimum of two years of experience as a Physical Therapist is preferred, though recent graduates with a strong clinical knowledge base are encouraged to apply.
This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, you will enjoy a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
