Radiology Coordinator

Middlesex Health seeks a Radiology Coordinator to support our integrated imaging services. In this patient-facing role, you will manage scheduling, registration, and workflow for radiology exams, ensuring timely, accurate, and safe care. Responsibilities include coordinating diagnostic imaging appointments, verifying orders and insurance authorizations, updating EHR/RIS/PACS, and serving as a key liaison between patients, technologists, and providers. Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule radiology procedures across modalities
• Verify orders, insurance authorization, and patient demographics
• Serve as primary contact for patients, providers, and imaging staff
• Maintain accurate records in EHR, RIS, and PACS systems
• Prioritize and adjust schedules to support patient flow and acuity
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and safety policies
• Support report distribution and follow-up communication
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize workflows
