Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and submit medical claims to insurance providers in a timely manner
• Verify patient insurance coverage and eligibility information
• Process and follow up on denied, rejected, and unpaid claims
• Post payments, adjustments, and remittances accurately
• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies and account issues
• Maintain accurate patient billing records and documentation
• Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status and reimbursement issues
• Assist with accounts receivable follow-up and collections activities
• Ensure compliance with healthcare billing regulations and organizational policies
• Generate billing reports and support month-end revenue cycle activities
