Banquet Supervisor

Water’s Edge Resort and Spa is accepting applications for our Banquet Supervisor position in CT - Westbrook, CT 06498. The position is a full‑time role with a salary range of $22.00–$24.00 per hour. We are seeking team members who are natural leaders with a passion to create memorable experiences for our guests.

• Greet clients and be available to guests throughout the event to ensure all needs are met.
• Oversee serving and set‑up staff.
• Ensure the event space is clean and prepared on time.
• Be responsible for the overall sanitation and cleanliness of work areas, banquet rooms, and storage areas.
• Communicate with culinary and housekeeping staff to ensure quality service is provided.
• Maintain service standards and procedures.
• Assist with scheduling and training.
• Assist with inventory and equipment maintenance and care.
• Be familiar with all current and upcoming event details per BEOs.

• 2 years of prior Banquet Supervisor or Captain experience preferred.
• Organized and able to communicate clearly and effectively in English.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, days, weekends and holidays.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced, high‑pressure environment.
• Has the stamina to handle prolonged periods of standing.
• Able to perform moderately strenuous activities including lifting, pushing or pulling up to 30 lbs.
• Has reliable transportation.
