Join our team and experience endless career possibilities if you are an existing team member, please click the following link to be taken to the internal career site: mohegan internal career site position summary:this position is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the hotel guest rooms.primary duties and responsibilities: includes but not limited to:responsible for making beds, cleaning bathrooms and floors, vacuuming, dusting and replenishing of fresh linens and amenitiesarranges all toiletries and bedroom amenities to pre-set standardsmaintains assigned cleaning equipment and toolskeeps carts, linen racks and equipment neat and orderlyreports unusual conditions, maintenance problems and repairs to a housekeeping supervisorfollows established chemical and key control proceduressecondary duties and responsibilities:maintains cleanliness and supply inventory in storage areas on the floorsassists with recycling effortsminimum education and qualifications:previous cleaning experience or the ability to use cleaning equipment and supplies must be able to communicate effectively in englishcompetencies: incumbent will master the following competencies while in this position:knowledge of expresso paging/reporting systemmaintains an average room inspection score of 90% or higherability to complete a fourteen credit quota within an eight hour shifttraining requirements:cleans guest rooms and maintains cleaning equipment according to department standards knowledge of regulatory safety practices on msds, osha regulations, hazardous communication and blood borne pathogensunderstanding of the phone system that informs the housekeeping supervisor the room is cleanphysical demands and work environment:must be able to stand for long periods of time with frequent reaching, lifting and bending must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.must
