Your area of responsibility

As Development Lead, you will be responsible for the technical and professional leadership of an agile development team that creates innovative, cloud-native services and modules for our connectivity and alerting platforms. You will oversee the architecture, implementation, and further development of modern, scalable backend and frontend solutions, ensuring the smooth operation and continuous improvement of our services. You will work closely with product management, QA, the operations team, and other stakeholders.

• Technical management and coaching of across-functional development team, as well as promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
• Responsibility for architecture, code quality and technical roadmap with a focus on cloud-native principles and microservice architectures (e.g. Node.js,Type Script, containerization, orchestration)
• Ensuring security and compliance standards, as well as promoting security by design ( e.g., secure coding, threat modeling, zero trust)
• Close collaboration with QA, Site Reliability Engineers and other teams to optimize test automation, CI/CD, monitoring and incident response.
• Responsibility for technical decision-making processes, selection and integration of new cloud technologies, and interface to product management and management.

• You have several years of experience in software development (fullstack, backend or frontend) and as a technical lead or senior developer.
• You have sound knowledge of modern web technologies (Node.js,Type Script,Svelte Kit, Vite, Mongo
  
  DB, REST APIs, OAuth 2.0).
• You have experience with modern architecture and design principles (microservices, API design, OpenAPI, cloud security) and in working with site reliability engineers.
• possesses excellent communication and teamwork skills, a leadership mindset, and enjoys coaching and mentoring.
• You have very good English and German skills.
