Overview We are seeking a highly capable and strategically minded Product Manager for Military and Law Enforcement small arms, including rifles, handguns, and machine guns. This role requires a blend of strategic planning, user engagement, product expertise, and business development vision.

The ideal candidate brings deep knowledge, skill, and enthusiasm for rifles and handguns in military settings. They have demonstrated experience working with military to influence product development. Their role will shape the direction of our product range and uncover new opportunities and partnerships to expand our presence in both domestic and international military as well as law enforcement markets. The focus will be on developing both long-term and short-term strategies to maximize opportunities.

This role will be a major contributor to the product development strategy and will be required to help create the product road map to support our customers.

Key Responsibilities Engage directly with military and law enforcement users to gather insights, understand operational needs, and translate requirements into product specifications, development roadmaps and ROI’s.Drive the strategy and lifecycle management of assigned small arms products, from concept through development, launch, and sustainment.

Oversee product program management, set requirements, define deliverables, and develop project plans.

Collaborate with commercial product teams to optimize development for both markets, making strategic decisions on program participation.

Build strong relationships with end users, program offices, procurement groups, and industry partners.

Participate in live-fire events, demonstrations, field evaluations, competitions, and customer engagements to maintain product knowledge and credibility as a subject matter expert.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, sales, marketing, and manufacturing to guide product execution and ensure alignment with user needs and business goals.

Support business development initiatives by identifying emerging opportunities, potential partnerships, and new product categories aligned with our strategic growth.

Develop business cases and product plans that communicate user requirements, market opportunities, competitive landscape, and expected outcomes.

Provide input into long-term product strategy and contribute to the broader vision for small arms innovation within the company.

Drive the development of Market, Training, and User’s materials used to support the products throughout the product lifecycle.

Occasionally Travel domestically and internationally to support industry trade shows, key customers, and the Military/Law Enforcement Sales team as needed.

Perform product demonstrations when required by customers domestically and internationally.

Required Qualifications Direct experience in the small arms industry (manufacturing, product management, engineering, military armorer/weapons specialist roles, etc.).Hands-on experience with firearms, with the ability and willingness to maintain proficiency through regular participation in live-fire events and product demonstrations.

Proven ability to engage military and law enforcement communities and understand mission‑driven requirements.

Strong understanding of product life cycles, from concept development through sustainment.

Bachelor’s degree Preferred, preferably in business administration, marketing, or a related field.

Ability to develop product proposals, assess market opportunities, and articulate product strategy clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship‑building skills.

Willingness and ability to travel approximately 20% of the time

Must be able to report daily into the office located in West Harford, CT Preferred Qualifications

Experience with government acquisitions, defense contracts, or program management.

Familiarity with competitive small arms technologies, trends, and emerging capabilities.

Prior military or law enforcement experience is a plus (non‑required).Experience working within cross-functional product development environments.
