About this roleThe Senior Network Architect is a senior technical leader responsible for the strategic vision, lifecycle planning, and architectural design of highly reliable, secure, and scalable multi-cloud and enterprise network infrastructure to support Gartner Conference and global business operations. The ideal candidate brings expert-level mastery in enterprise network design, zero-trust security frameworks, edge connectivity, and hybrid cloud ecosystems. They are passionate about setting architectural guardrails, authoring long-term technology roadmaps, and leveraging modern software-defined networking (SDN) and automation frameworks to drive transformative business outcomes.
Whatyou’ll do
- Define Strategy:
Architect the global enterprise network blueprint spanning LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, multi-cloud ecosystems, and high-density event environments. - Lead Security Architecture:
Design enterprise-wide network security frameworks, integrating next-generation firewalls, SASE, zero-trust models, and micro-segmentation. - Author Roadmaps:
Establish long-term technology roadmaps, standard reference designs, and architectural guardrails for campus office, data center, and cloud connectivity. - Drive Innovation:
Evaluate and select emerging technologies, leading proof-of-concepts for SDN, intent-based networking, network automation, and AI frameworks. - Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with infrastructure team, application team, Infosec team, Dev Ops Team, Cloud CCOE team and End user team. - Govern Documentation:
Own the lifecycle of core reference architectures, global topology diagrams, infrastructure-as-code libraries, and standard compliance guidelines. - Act as Highest Escalation:
Serve as the ultimate technical authority for systemic, complex infrastructure or application performance anomalies. - Mentor Teams:
Provide technical governance and mentorship to senior network engineering teams, cultivating engineering excellence across the organization.
- Professional
Experience:
12+ years of deep technical experience in large-scale enterprise routing, switching, and complex network infrastructure design. - Modernization Strategy:
Proven success in designing enterprise network modernization strategies, transforming legacy topologies into intent-driven, automated infrastructures. - Technical Governance:
Ability to author and maintain global network architectural standards, high-level designs (HLD), low-level designs (LLD), and deployment blueprints. - Core Routing & Switching:
Master-level understanding of advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) alongside high-density data center fabrics (spine-leaf) and modern campus network topologies. - Enterprise Wireless:
Deep technical knowledge of enterprise wireless LAN (WLAN) controllers, cloud-managed Wi-Fi architecture, RF engineering, and centralized wireless management platforms. - Application Delivery & Load Balancing:
Advanced, hands-on knowledge of F5 BIG-IP systems (LTM, DNS, APM), including deep familiarity with SSL/TLS termination, HTTP/HTTPS profiles, and iRules. - Zero Trust & Network Segmentation:
Extensive track record of designing complex network segmentation frameworks and implementing true Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) models across all physical, cloud, and edge infrastructures. - Palo Alto Security Design:
Strong experience in Palo Alto Networks infrastructure, designing secure deployments utilizing Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) managed via Strata Cloud Manager, user-/app-, and cloud-delivered security services. - SASE & Edge Architecture:
Expertise to architect and scale Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and SD-WAN frameworks to provide optimized, secure connectivity for remote users and branch offices. - Multi-Cloud Networking:
