We are expanding and have an opening for a top performing Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative to join our team in our Naugatuck office to service a book of commercial lines accounts. The focus is to manage client communications, nurture key relationships, keep track of all necessary documentation, help clients understand their coverage, and ensure all relevant data is properly tracked in our secured systems.

• Build relationships with customers and carriers
• Day to day account management of assigned client accounts
• Deliver certificates of insurance in a timely and efficient fashion
• Perform quality control and review applications, endorsements and policies for accuracy
• Maintain and update files in our account management system
• Troubleshoot billing or payment issues
• Prepare and maintain reports as required by management
• Correspond and maintain contact with advisors regarding new and renewal business

• Property & Casualty licensed required
• Proven experience in an insurance commercial service role
• Agency Management software experience
• Knowledge of computer software packages, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Professional verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building abilities
• Proficiency to multi-task, follow-thru and follow-up.
