Location: Hockanum
Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Supply Chain Engineer to manage F135 deployment support.
What You Will Do- Support F135 deployment activities, including Afloat Spares Package (ASP) and Deployment Spares Package (DSP) modeling optimizations and part allocation.
- Initiate spares modeling requests, participate in spares reviews and analysis, and contribute to deployment support plans.
- Manage kit reconstitution of ASPs and DSPs post‑deployment to maintain operational readiness levels.
- Monitor utilization rates of F135 spare parts during deployments and make sourcing decisions to keep contracted spares at target stock level.
- Coordinate redistribution of F135 spares to ensure compliance with contracted target stock levels.
- Conduct inventory analysis to keep SAP records accurate per contracted and PUK requirements.
- Facilitate sourcing, shipping, and redistribution actions to satisfy kit contracted target stock levels or part requisitions.
- Manage the full lifecycle of F135 spare parts, including planning, ordering, warehousing, and dispatch to global locations.
- Develop expertise in supply chain operations supporting the warfighter.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, or Logistics Management.
- At least five years of aerospace/defense supply support experience, or an advanced degree with three years of relevant experience.
- U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government‑issued security clearance (Secret clearance).
- Proficiency with SAP spares‑related transactions and knowledge of PW/RTX internal supply policies.
- Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to organize, analyze, and present information from multiple data systems.
- Experience with import/export regulations (EAR/ITAR) is preferred.
- Onsite: work primarily at the Hartford facility.
- No relocation assistance; commuting is the employee’s responsibility.
Estimated salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD, based on experience and qualifications.
