Boat & Yacht Upholstery Shop Supervisor
We are seeking a skilled, hands‑on Boat & Yacht Upholstery Shop Supervisor to lead daily shop operations while actively participating in the fabrication and installation of custom marine upholstery projects. This position requires strong leadership, advanced upholstery experience, and a commitment to super high‑quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.

Responsibilities- Supervise and work alongside upholsterers, sewing technicians, and installers
- Perform hands‑on marine upholstery fabrication and installation work
- Manage custom yacht and boat upholstery projects from start to finish
- Ensure super high‑quality workmanship, fit, finish, and durability on all projects
- Fabricate and install:
- Custom seating and cushions
- Yacht interiors and wall panels
- Headliners and sun pads
- Marine canvas, covers, and enclosures
- Bimini tops and upholstery systems
- Measure boats and create templates and patterns for custom applications
- Inspect completed work to ensure luxury‑level quality standards are met
- Work with marine‑grade vinyl, leather, foam, canvas, and stainless hardware
- Schedule jobs and coordinate daily shop workflow
- Train and mentor upholstery staff in advanced marine fabrication techniques
- Troubleshoot fabrication and installation issues both in‑shop and on‑site
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate professionally with yacht owners, captains, marinas, and project managers
- Strong hands‑on experience in marine or yacht upholstery
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Advanced sewing, patterning, and fabrication skills
- Experience with marine canvas and enclosure systems
- Ability to read templates and perform custom fit installations
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality craftsmanship
- Ability to lift materials and work in shop and marina environments
- Reliable, organized, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Luxury yacht upholstery and refit experience
- Foam fabrication and custom cushion work
- Installation experience on yachts and high‑end vessels
- Knowledge of marine hardware and weather‑resistant materials
