CNC Machinist – 3pm to 11pm – Aerospace & Precision Manufacturing

Shift: 3pm to 11pm. Salary: $30 - $40 per hour.

• Set up and operate 3, 4, and 5‑axis CNC mills
• Machine complex aerospace‑grade components to tight tolerances
• Interpret advanced blueprints, prints, and GD&T callouts
• Adjust tooling, offsets, feeds, speeds, and machining parameters
• Perform in‑process inspections and final quality checks
• Use micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other precision tools
• Troubleshoot machining issues and optimize setups for efficiency
• Reduce scrap and rework through precision‑focused execution
• Collaborate with engineering and programming teams on process improvements
• Maintain safe and clean work area standards

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Technical machining certificate a plus
• Minimum 3+ years of CNC machining experience in precision manufacturing or aerospace environments
• Strong experience operating and setting up multi‑axis mills
• Experience with 3‑axis, 4‑axis, and 5‑axis machining centers
• Ability to read blueprints and interpret GD&T confidently
• Experience with Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Makino, Mitsubishi, or similar CNC controls
• Strong inspection background using precision measurement equipment
• Proven ability to machine tight‑tolerance components with minimal scrap
• Strong troubleshooting skills for tooling, offsets, setups, and machine issues
• Detail‑oriented with strong quality standards
