Position Summary

SIOP S&OE Production Planner – responsible for supporting manufacturing operations and ensuring reliable delivery of high‑quality aerospace products through Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) and Sales & Operations Execution (S&OE).

Responsibilities
  • Planning & Scheduling: develop, maintain, and monitor production schedules and material requirements plans (MRP).
  • MRP Management: oversee SAP MRP activities to ensure timely procurement of materials and components.
  • Material Management: maintain consistent material availability, manage inventory levels, and coordinate with Supply Chain and Operations.
  • SIOP

    Collaboration:

    support the SIOP cycle by partnering with Operations, Marketing, Sourcing, Engineering, and Supply Chain to develop an integrated demand and supply plan.
  • Forecast & Demand Alignment: review demand forecasts, reconcile with capacity and material availability, and address imbalances proactively.
  • Inventory Control: monitor and optimize inventory of raw materials and finished goods; manage obsolete or slow‑moving items.
  • Performance Analysis: track and analyze KPIs tied to production, materials, and inventory performance, implementing improvements when needed.
  • Cross‑Functional Communication: coordinate with Manufacturing Operations, Procurement, Logistics, Quality, and Engineering to ensure seamless execution.
  • SAP Expertise: utilize SAP for material planning, production order creation, inventory analysis, and ensure data integrity.
  • Issue Resolution: identify risks such as shortages or bottlenecks, develop and implement recovery and mitigation plans.
  • Continuous Improvement: drive enhancements to planning processes, material flow, and system accuracy.
  • Reporting & Analysis: prepare and present planning, performance, and service‑level reports to support leadership decision‑making.
Qualifications – Must Have
  • University Degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years experience.
  • Proven experience in production and material planning.
  • Proficiency in SAP modules (PP/MM).
  • Demonstrated skills in forecasting and inventory management.
Qualifications – Prefer
  • Problem‑solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional operational environment.
  • Analytical judgment, attention to detail, and time‑management skills.
  • Written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across diverse teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially advanced Excel functions (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
  • Experience in manufacturing environments, preferably aerospace or other highly regulated industries.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems, including end‑to‑end MRP functionality.
  • Experience with Sales and Operations Planning (SIOP) practices.
  • Experience in data analysis.
Salary Range

$86,800 – $165,200 USD
