Manufacturing Engineer
NPI | Process Improvement | Tooling Design | Lean Manufacturing
A growing advanced manufacturer is seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvement, new product introduction (NPI), tooling development, and manufacturing efficiency initiatives
.
This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on production performance, working across engineering, quality, and operations to launch new products, improve manufacturing processes, and support continuous improvement projects.
What You'll Do- Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
- Design tooling, fixtures, gauges, and shop‑floor solutions.
- Improve manufacturing processes, workflow, and production efficiency.
- Develop work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing standards.
- Drive DFM, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support ERP data, routings, ECO implementation, and production readiness.
- Partner with Quality on root cause analysis, CAPA, and process improvements.
- Identify automation and productivity improvement opportunities.
- 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related experience.
- Experience supporting production and manufacturing environments.
- Knowledge of NPI, process improvement, tooling, and manufacturing documentation.
- Experience with CAD software such as Solid Works or Inventor.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
- Knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing processes.
- GD&T knowledge preferred.
- Experience with in AS9100 or ISO 9001 environments is a plus.
- Hands‑on engineering with real ownership.
- Diverse, high‑mix manufacturing environment.
