Manufacturing Engineer

NPI | Process Improvement | Tooling Design | Lean Manufacturing

A growing advanced manufacturer is seeking a hands‑on Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvement, new product introduction (NPI), tooling development, and manufacturing efficiency initiatives
.

This is an opportunity to make a direct impact on production performance, working across engineering, quality, and operations to launch new products, improve manufacturing processes, and support continuous improvement projects.

What You'll Do
  • Lead and support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects.
  • Design tooling, fixtures, gauges, and shop‑floor solutions.
  • Improve manufacturing processes, workflow, and production efficiency.
  • Develop work instructions, process documentation, and manufacturing standards.
  • Drive DFM, cost reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Support ERP data, routings, ECO implementation, and production readiness.
  • Partner with Quality on root cause analysis, CAPA, and process improvements.
  • Identify automation and productivity improvement opportunities.
What We're Looking For
  • 3+ years of Manufacturing Engineering or related experience.
  • Experience supporting production and manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of NPI, process improvement, tooling, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience with CAD software such as Solid Works or Inventor.
  • Understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles.
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and manufacturing processes.
  • GD&T knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with in AS9100 or ISO 9001 environments is a plus.
