Location: Maromas
Position Overview
Machine Operator 1 – Responsible for operating a variety of production machines to manufacture aircraft engine blades and vanes. Shift is Friday night through Monday morning, 6:00pm – 6:30am.
Responsibilities- Perform daily standard work and adhere to all work instructions.
- Read and interpret process sheets, gauges, and blueprints; deburr, clean, and make minor offset changes as required.
- Change machine set‑ups and document information on check sheets; maintain dimensional data on run charts.
- Operate equipment in the entire work loop and produce product per standard work.
- Clock labor in Solumina, perform daily total preventative maintenance (TPM), and document results.
- Keep equipment and work area clean using 5S principles.
- Move around the machine line 90% of the time, handling parts and equipment weighing up to 10pounds.
- Carry out additional tasks within the scope and skill level of this position.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- U.S. citizenship (required). Only U.S. citizens authorized to access information under this program/contract.
- Previous manufacturing experience or related education; advanced manufacturing certification is a plus.
- Two or more years of machine or manufacturing experience.
