Projects Inc. manufactures precision machined components for the Aerospace and Power Generation industries with an FAA and EASA approved Repair Station for the maintenance and alteration of temperature and pressure probes.
Our Repair Station is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in our assembly processes. The qualified candidate will perform various repair tasks related to thermocouples and pressure probes.
Responsibilities- Assemble aerospace components according to approved procedures, drawings, and specifications.
- Learn and follow FAA regulations, company policies, and quality standards during all phases of assembly.
- Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
- Conduct inspections and tests on assembled components to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work performed, including assembly records and inspection reports.
- Use hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and assembly equipment safely and effectively.
- Disassemble and assemble temperature probes.
- Complete easy circuit wiring.
- Measure loop resistance by utilizing impedance meters.
- Measure insulation resistance by utilizing Megohmmeters.
- Perform welding and brazing on small parts.
- Identify and troubleshoot assembly issues, escalating concerns to engineering or quality departments as needed.
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance skills and processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and regulatory standards.
- Other duties as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is preferred.
- Willingness to use the skills you learned in school in aerospace manufacturing, repair, and assembly.
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity a must.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and compliance standards.
- Ability to sit for the duration of the day.
- Some lifting – up to 20 lbs. is required.
- Compensation: based on experience
