Maintenance Technician / Mechanic, Production QC/QA, Industrial Maintenance
Job Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain all facility equipment safely and efficiently.
- Supervise, schedule work, and communicate with production staff and maintenance leadership.
- Diagnose problems with engineers and suggest corrective actions.
- Contribute to team decision‑making and support project work.
- Continuously review current processes and identify improvement methods to reduce waste and improve product and process quality.
- Document all work performed in Limble CMMS and comply with work order process guidelines.
- Provide safe, timely support to other team members and assist in housekeeping and waste removal.
- High School Diploma or equivalent;
Associate degree or certifications in a technical/manufacturing field is a definite plus. - 5+ years of experience in a heavy mechanical/electrical manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, technical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Background involving AC/DC motors, pumps, drives, inverters, gearboxes, PLCs, and HMIs.
- Knowledge of TPM/Lean or other continuous improvement processes.
- Computer literacy and ability to learn new software.
- Powered Industrial Vehicle (PIV) trained or willing to become trained.
- Good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in reading technical documents, drawings, and schematics.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting safely and timely.
- Motivated toward productivity improvements, safety, and quality awareness.
- Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling weights up to 75 lbs occasionally; average 10–50 lbs frequently.
- Work at a swift and steady pace. Reach, push, pull, walk, stand, trunk turn and twist.
- Work outside in all weather conditions.
- Hand‑eye coordination for precise movements.
- Alertness throughout all duties and safety.
- Long and short‑term memory for procedures and work processes.
- Ability to interact with coworkers and work in a team setting.
- Ability to learn and comprehend detailed instructions.
- Make good decisions under stress of high production requirements.
Daily attendance and punctuality required. Overtime is determined by production schedules and workload. Shift schedules include 1st shift, 3rd shift and weekend shift. Weekday shift: 10 hours per day, 4 days per week (Monday‑Thursday). Weekend shift: 12 hours per day, 3 days per week (Friday‑Sunday). Breaks: one 15‑minute break, one 30‑minute lunch, and one additional 10‑minute break.
